Novi_sad’s music has been used for Lars von Trier’s new project ”Gesamt”. ”Neuroplanets” will be published by Sub Rosa in the beginning of 2013. Novi_sad is also contributing on Sub Rosa’s ”Anthology of Noise and Electronic Music #7” with a new track entitled ”The Insolence of a Poppy”.

Novi_sad created the music for the short film ”Titloi Telous”, directed by Yorgos Zois. Upcoming perfomances: ”Sirens A/V” at de:sonanz Festival, Skopje on 4th October, Mutek Festival, Mexico City on 6th October (at IMAX theatre) and Simultan Festival, Timisoara on 13th October.

Novi_sad is delighted to announce that ”Titloi Telous – Out of Frame”, directed by Yorgos Zois (with music by Novi_sad), was awarded as the best short film at the 69th Venice Biennale International Film Festival and it is Mostra’s official nomination for the European Film Awards (EFA) 2012.

Novi_sad presents Sirens A/V (visuals by Ryoichi Kurokawa), at ”Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains”.

The performance is part of the Panorama 14 exhibition, Nuit Electronique.

Novi_sad tours north America. Perfomances are taking place at – Sala Rossa, Montreal – The Chapel, Seattle – Roy O. Disney Concert Hall, CalArts in Los Angeles and a world premiere of Sirens A-V w/ Ryoichi Kurokawa, at Montreal’s Elektra Festival. Usine C | 5th May | 22:30 hrs.

Novi_sad presents ‘Neuroplanets’ in the context of a live A-V perfomance, at Le Cube Festival, Paris, France. 19th April 2012, 20:30 hrs. ‘Neuroplanets’ is a project based on audio analysis in sounds from other planets and the use of data and information research on Neurosciences.
