‘‘Sirens’’ is a project which explores the aesthetics of information on sound by applying data from audio analysis and stock market crashes, on tracks commissioned from: Richard Chartier, CM von Hausswolff, Jacob Kirkegaard, Helge Sten and Rebecca Foon. Visuals by Ryoichi Kurokawa.

An audio project which explores the aesthetics of information on sound, by using applied results from other planets analyzed sonic phenomena and data from Neurosciences, on tracks commissioned from: BJ Nilsen, Daniel Menche, Francisco López and Mika Vainio.

Residency at the Center for Composers, Gotland, Sweden from 29th of September to 12th of October 2008. Three different projects realized while working in the Alpha studio. Listen to a sample here.

“Hz vs Church” is not about mucical pleasure. It is about provoking new modes of perceiving and experiencing one’s own body and hearing by triggering variable and autonomous psycho-physiological responses, using audio assault material.

On 20th of February 2008 Novi_sad did a live recording session at the prestigious VPRO studios in Amsterdam. The piece was recorded and engineered by Berry Kamer and Maurice Woestenburg.

A photograph could never bring us the smell of the place. And phonography, in its contemporary form, could never bring us the entire “geometrical layout” of the sounds, which is a highly sensory and captivating experience.
