Novi_sad

From 7th-17th April 2012, Novi_sad will be residing at Skriðuklaustur, Centre for Culture and History, working on a new A/V project entitled ‘ICE’. Skriðuklaustur is a former medieval monastery in East Iceland, where the famous writer Gunnar Gunnarsson lived and developed his work.

Novi_sad is giving a lecture and performing live at Warehouse9, on 16th March 2012. Another performance will take place at Nikolaj Arts Centre, formerly ”The Church of Saint Nicholas”, which dates back to the early 13th century and is thus Copenhagen’s third-oldest church. 29th March 2012, 17:00 hrs.

RYOICHI KUROKAWA has completed his visual work on ‘Sirens’. Novi_sad performs live and gives a master class at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. February 16th 2012. Master class will take place from 14:00-16:00 and perfomance starts at 20:00 hrs.

Novi_sad is delighted to announce that he is going to be in Copenhagen, Denmark from January – April 2012 as part of DIVA residency program of the Danish Arts Council.

Thanasis Kaproulias has been invited by The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Visual Arts.

Novi_sad present ‘Sirens’ at Eletronika Festival, Belo Horizonte. A new work entitled ‘Wound_Burner’ will be premiered at UNESP, São Paulo. He will also give lectures in two spaces in São Paulo and the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro during Cultura Digital Festival. Click for dates.

Novi_sad is delighted to announce his forthcoming release entitled ‘Titans’, a split cd with Francisco López. A new track, ‘The insolence of a poppy’ will be released through Sub Rosa’s ‘Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music #7’. The first official Novi_sad video is now available on line.
