Sirens in Los Angeles

”Sirens” (visuals by Ryoichi Kurokawa) will be exhibited as a screening as part of the City of Los Angeles’ ”Night on Broadway”. Curated by IAMSOUND, at the historic Los Angeles Theatre and with cultural partners s[edition] and Dazed Digital, the event takes place on 28th January 2017.

IAMSOUND presents a music video program showcasing signature works from Grimes, Jamie XX, Moses Sumney and Radiohead. Cultural partners Dazed Digital, the influential media platform where pop culture meets the underground, and s[edition], leaders in the world of digital art, curate video programs, including Interstice, a surrealist experimental short film by Bjork collaborator Andrew Thomas Huang.

”Night on Broadway” is a free arts and music festival produced in celebration of Councilmember José Huizar’s Bringing Back Broadway economic development initiative. Like never before, ”Night on Broadway” awakens beautiful historic theatres and the blocks between them along the Broadway corridor in Downtown Los Angeles. L.A. is a mecca for creative talent of all kinds, and ”Night on Broadway” is where it all shines – right in the heart of entertainment’s birthplace in Los Angeles. From emerging musical acts to national stars, artists to acrobats, and fashion designers to food trucks, ”Night on Broadway” is all about the City of Angels.
