Novi_sad

Lars von Trier directed, conceptualized and produced a project entitled ”Gesamt”. Novi_sad’s music has been used in this project and he contributed with ”Riotous Viscera” and ”The Insolence of a Poppy”, two musical pieces associated to James Joyce’s ”Ulysses”.

Novi_sad created the music for the short film ”Titloi Telous – Out of Frame”, directed by Yorgos Zois. The film was awarded as the best short movie at the 69th Venice Biennale International Film Festival, being Mostra’s official nomination for the European Film Awards (EFA) 2012.

‘‘Sirens’’ is a project which explores the aesthetics of information on sound by applying data from audio analysis and stock market crashes, on tracks commissioned from: Richard Chartier, CM von Hausswolff, Jacob Kirkegaard, Helge Sten and Rebecca Foon. Visuals by Ryoichi Kurokawa.

An audio project which explores the aesthetics of information on sound, by using applied results from other planets analyzed sonic phenomena and data from Neurosciences, on tracks commissioned from: BJ Nilsen, Daniel Menche, Francisco López and Mika Vainio.

Novi_sad worked in the sound design for Yorgos Zois’ short film ”Casus Belli”, which made its world premiere at the 67th Venice Biennale International Film Festival.

Residency at the Center for Composers, Gotland, Sweden from 29th of September to 12th of October 2008. Three different projects realized while working in the Alpha studio. Listen to a sample here.
